Last year, 2012, we found a little maple tree that had sprouted up under the edge of our air conditioner compressor in our yard. Jason dug it up late in the summer and moved it over to the east side of the house in the front yard. We thought that it had died because there was only one leaf left come fall. This spring it has put out a bunch more leaves, and appears to be recovering nicely from its transplant. We decided we would take a picture with Mia next to it each year to show its progression with Mia. So, its the Mia tree.
